Birth Control
In an effort to increase contraceptive access, the New Mexico State Board of Pharmacy has issued prescriptive authority for pharmacists. Our trained pharmacists will be able to prescribe hormonal contraception directly to eligible patients of New Mexico.
This protocol will set criteria for properly trained pharmacists and is expected that increased access may improve contraceptive use, thus increasing individuals’ ability to plan and space pregnancies and decrease the high rate of unintended pregnancy in New Mexico.
Make an appointment with one of our pharmacists to get your birth control prescription.
